Trinity Episcopal Church

Trinity Ministries & Leadership

Foyers
Trinity has several foyer groups for Spring 2007, consisting of approximately 8 people each. These groups meet monthly for a simple meal at the home of someone in their group. Groups are changed every four months, and an all-foyer picnic is held in late summer.

Trinity Tutoring
Several Trinity members are again participating in a morning school tutoring program for students at Ben Franklin Elementary in Newark. This program is uplifting for both tutors and students alike.

St.Gabriel Choir
Trinity's adult choir reconvened for 2006-07 under the talented leadership of choirmaster Terry Bagot. The numbers are growing and the sound is beautiful! They are singing a blend of both 'old standards' and new music, and their voices are bringing much joy to the church.

ECW Activities
Trinity Episcopal Church Women's group is an extremely active and vital part of our church. Once a month after the 10:30 service they have a very popular soup lunch. The money raised by these lunches has been put toward such causes as repairing our priceless stained-glass windows, and relief for natural disasters such as floods and earthquakes.

Other fund-raising events include a Holiday Cookie Walk, selling Episcopal jewelry, and catering dinners to outside groups. Also, the 'Mile of Pennies' project continues. The goal is to collect a full mile of pennies, or $884.80.
