Trinity's Glorious Glass

This window was given in memory of Eliza Weddle Warner (August 26, 1832 - February 18, 1864) by her husband, General Willard Warner. It is believed to have been made by The J & R Lamb Studios of New York and installed in Trinity in 1892. The depiction of The Sower was taken from an engraving found in an 1840’s Children’s Illustrated Bible.

This window was given in Memory of Wilbur F. Tiemann (dates currently unavailable) by Marjorie Tiemann, July 26,1894 - May 1980, and their son, James L. Tiemann, who died December 1942.  Trinity’s newest piece of Glorious Glass, it was installed in January 1981, over the doorway leading to the patio garden off the foyer. Lisa Tiemann, grand-daughter of Wilbur and Marjorie, and niece of James L. Tiemann, is the artist who designed and made the window. She currently lives Melrose, Massachusetts, where she continues to create artistic treasures in glass.
